Looking for a place to serve? At Alderwood, there are places for you to grow and use your gifts that God has given you. The church needs us to work together to accomplish the mission of Jesus. There are a variety of opportunities below to help you grow in your love for God and one another!

Following Jesus Together means caring for those in need. There are a variety of places to serve with different time commitments and expertise. Below is a breakdown of all of our ways to serve on the Care team.

Prisoners for Christ Outreach Ministries is an international non-denominational organization dedicated to taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ into jails, prisons, and juvenile centers locally, nationally, and internationally. As a reviewer of inmate Bible Study lessons, you can minister to prisoners from the comfort of your home. With a small commitment of 2-3 hours per week, you would review incoming lessons from prisoners and return them to your team leader when you’re done. No theology degree required! If you’re familiar with the Bible and Christian beliefs, you’re qualified!

Our Charity Quilt group, Love Covers Quilts, meets the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursday of each month from 9:00am until 2:00pm in W200. We assemble quilt tops for various charities including Alderwood Compassion Center, Support 7, Snohomish County Domestic Violence, Everett Children's Burn Foundation Summer Camp, and Alderwood Missionaries.

Assembling quilts requires no sewing skills! Just bring yourself and a sack lunch. This is a great opportunity to meet new people. Come when you can. Leave when you must. Both women and men are welcome to join the Charity Quilt group!

Quilt tops are assembled outside of group. We have kits available if you would like to help with sewing.
We also need donations of fabric, yarn, and clean, unstained sheets.

Do you have experience in productions and tech? What about design, video, photography, social media, or other form of communication? Let us know! The Productions Team and Creative Arts team are currently in need of volunteers to serve.
