Alderwood Student MinistriesA place for students to belong
Current Message Series
We’ve titled our series “That You May Believe” based off John 20:31, where John writes “but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”
John has written this book as an account of who Jesus is, why Jesus is the Messiah, and what the benefits of belonging to him are. During this study, we’ll be analyzing the Gospel of John to better understand the life of Jesus and how we can follow His example as believers.
High School9TH TO 12TH GRADE
ACC’s High School Ministry is a Jesus-centered community for all 9th-12th grade students to grow in their relationships with God and their peers. The Gospel of Jesus changes everything so our aim is to come alongside students and their families to see 9th-12th grade students become every day followers of Jesus. We do this through a small group driven ministry model where students study the scriptures in community.
HSM gathers weekly for Small Groups on Sundays at 11:00am in the Manor to study the passage of scripture which will be taught on the next midweek gathering. We meet for ASM Midweek on Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Manor for a time of hanging out, worship, a message from the scriptures and a short small group reflection time.
SUMMER: During the Summer months we transition to only meeting for Midweek (no Sunday Small Groups) outside for ASM in the PARK(ing lot) from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the west parking lot.
ACC’s Ministry to 6th through 8th grade students is led by our Middle School Director, Austin Mcdermott
On Sundays, our students meet at 11:00am in small groups with volunteer adult leaders to discuss and study a passage from the series we are going through. We also encourage students to attend our live gatherings in the auditorium with their families or watch the service at alderwood.cc/online.
