This weekend is Palm Sunday and as we lead up to Easter, we will be asking the question Who is Jesus? Oftentimes, our expectations of Jesus blind us from seeing who he really is. This Sunday, the big idea is, Our expectations of Jesus can blind us from seeing who he really is. Our passage is Luke 19:28-44.

The disciples and the pharisees missed who Jesus was as they built their own little kingdoms. Share a time when your expectations of Jesus blinded you from seeing who he really is. How did this cause you to grow in your relationship with Jesus?

Jesus’ victory was self-sacrificial death on a cross. How can you go to your friends and neighbors in a self-sacrificial way? Who in your life needs to know who Jesus is? Spend a few minutes praying that God would provide opportunities for you to invite them to Easter weekend.
