.....B. Why is God so angry?

..........(1) All humanity has suppressed the truth of God through their sinful thinking and actions. (vs. 18)

..........(2) All humanity has ignored God’s revelation and have refused to acknowledge his power and rule over their lives. (vs. 19-20)

..........(2) Ultimately, we will suffer eternal wrath and condemnation.

“But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God will give to each person according to what he has done…. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.” Romans 2:5-6, 8

2. The Good News: Those who acknowledge God and have faith in the sacrifice of His Son Jesus on their behalf, will not suffer His wrath but have eternal life.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in his blood.”
