Dynamic Praise Kids

Dynamic Praise Kids, DPK, at Alderwood Community Church is a musical theatre children’s choir dedicated to teaching kids important truths from God’s Word and learning scripture through music, drama, and dance. Many of our practices also include short bible lessons, games, and activities. Our spring performance and ice cream social is an opportunity for kids to practice outreach by inviting family, friends, and neighbors who may be new to church and allow them to experience worship through the voices of children.

Cost is $35 per child with the max cost being $40. Please make sure to select how many children you are registering total.  (Discounts will be added at final section of registration). If you need financial assistance please email hannah.blomberg@gmail.com.

Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings and start on January 20th from 6:30-8:00PM (new time this year)! The option to audition for individual roles in drama, singing, and/or dancing will happen during later rehearsals.

DPK welcomes all kids ages Kindergarten – 5th grade.
Parents or caregivers are welcome (but not required) to stay and watch rehearsals (It is recommended for kids with a reading level below 2nd grade to be accompanied by an adult to help them follow along).

The option to audition for individual roles in drama, singing, and/or dancing will happen during later rehearsals.

This year’s performance is scheduled for the evening of SUNDAY, MAY 17, 2026 at ACC. Families should plan to keep that entire afternoon/evening open as we will need everyone to be available for setup and a final rehearsal before our performance that evening (exact times TBD).
