Hello Alderwood Family! It’s been a busy start of the new year and decade! We began with our annual Bridges Vision Conference where over 700 international students and scholars joined us to journey closer to Jesus. Over 1/3 were non-believers who are learning about Jesus, many young believers, as well as Christian leaders wanting to learn how to grow and reach out on their campuses. There was a separate track for Muslim, Chinese and South Asian students tailored-made for them. This was our largest contingency from Seattle this year (27 students) with at least six students who have recently put their faith in Christ!
Our community college ministries, especially at Edmonds Community College, is exploding! Our daughter Mallory has been a student leader there and has seen God use her in students’ lives being transformed for Christ. What a blessing to do ministry alongside of her!
We continue to journey with several students and scholars. We’re currently planning and looking forward to our Spring Break fire relief trip to Paradise, California. We went there last year to help with the fire relief efforts and took 13 non-believers with us. It was so incredibly impactful and five of those non-believers came to Christ in the months that followed. We are hoping to take even more students this March. We’ve not only had an impact in the families there in Paradise, but in the lives of our students for eternity.
Pray for two students from Cascadia Community College that are in an evangelistic Bible study and are open to the gospel. Also pray for a Taiwanese scholar that we have been sharing with as well…that they receive Christ.
Thank you for your continued partnership with us in this vital ministry that is helping to reach the nations!
