Dear Alderwood Family!
The Lord is opening so many doors and blessing the work all over the world!
Because of you and your generous support 30 pastors in Northeast Brazil were trained, in person! Last month Manny Fernandez and I were able to travel together to Brazil. We tag teamed the first course on Bible study methods with this new group. Their goal is to plant 600 churches in the next 5 years, and that those 600 will plant three more each. That vision will result in 2,400 churches! Please be praying for this vision and each of the pastors’ visions!
Yes, Russia! Last month saw a new partnership beginning to form with a seminary in Russia! Throughout the entire country of Russia, having a population of 144 million, there are only 1,000 protestant churches! Our efforts will be in training and equipping seminary students to plant churches in their local communities. We plan to start by supporting 50 church planters, each planting 3 churches, the result would be a 15% increase of protestant churches within the country!
Praise God, the Philippines is now OPEN!! We have been waiting for borders to reopen since Covid and the day has finally come. We are currently trying to put together a time and schedule for a trip to meet with pastors and launch pastor training in the Philippines!
Spain and India
I am preparing now to teach Christology in person to the students at the seminary in Spain! Things are in the works for acquiring a business visa for India, so I can teach the third course in person in February!
A lot is going on and none of it is possible without you and your support! We covet your prayers! Thank you again for your faithfulness. Your heart for missions is such an encouragement to us and is having an incredible impact around the world for eternity!
We thank God for our Alderwood family.
With great thanksgiving,
