Matt & Sarah Peterson

Reine Huber Missionary Updates

Ken & Cammy Draper met on Zoom with our missionaries Matt & Sarah Peterson recently…read & watch the interview below.

One of the ministries happening on the mission field that excites me (Ken) the most is the training of pastors. We in the U.S. have so many rich resources when it comes to education and training. But pastors and leaders in other countries often encounter either financial hurdles or just very limited resources/opportunities.

That’s why I’m so enthusiastic about what God is doing through Matt and Sarah Peterson, who serve the Lord with World Link Ministries. Matt’s ministry focuses on training pastors to reach their countries with the gospel of Christ. From their home base outside of Tyler, Texas, Matt travels to the countries of India, Spain, Philippines, Ukraine, and others 3-4 times a year helping implement a four-year seminary level training program. Given the time, Matt would tell you of students who have planted, one, two, three, and more churches (while being a full time student)! One of his students in Spain has started working with groups of believers in Spain to plant churches in other European countries! Imagine the multiplication that’s taking place as Matt teaches faithful leaders, who then teach others! It is so exciting to hear that World Link has so many requests for this kind of help that a big prayer need is discernment about where to go next!

What about Sarah? She plays an exceptionally strategic role in their ministry as Matt’s valued encourager, supporter, and confidant. Sarah only travels occasionally with Matt because she has a discipleship ministry at home with their children, Robyn, Josephine, Seth, and baby #4 due in August! Four kids, under four years old! Living near family is a huge blessing for the Petersons, especially when Matt is traveling!

Reach out to the Petersons and get acquainted and inspired. You will bless them and you will be blessed as learn what God is doing through them. And pray for them. Ask God to bless their ministry as they train up their children at home and pastors around the world.
