Message from Brad – Online Worship Experience
Happy Wednesday Alderwood Church Family!
I want to remind you that you are loved, thought of and being prayed for by me, the church staff and elders. While the coronavirus presents a lot of challenges to our way of life, God is not caught off guard! God reminded Isaiah, and he wants to remind you today, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 Now slowly read over this verse a couple of times and really ponder these wonderful promises. The number one reason we do not have to fear is that OUR GOD IS WITH US!!!
The church staff is working hard behind the scenes to find new ways for us to engage as a church, even though we cannot physically be together. We want to continue to encourage you in your relationship with Jesus as an everyday follower. Tomorrow, a few of our team members will record video content to provide you with a Sunday morning worship experience for this weekend. Our worship team will lead us in praise of our God. Pastor Chad will preach from Mark 14 as we continue our sermon series Unexpected: The Gospel of the Servant King. Pastor Curtis will deliver a message to our students. And the kids ministry team will provide a story with discussion questions for children and parents to watch and discuss together! This video content will be posted on our church’s website on Saturday night for you, your family and your friends, to view together on Sunday morning. Invite your friends, neighbors, and co-workers to watch our service online!
